This policy outlines how we collect, store, and utilize your personal details when you interact with our website or submit an inquiry for our private tuk tuk tours.

When you submit a reservation inquiry or interact with our client-side portal, we may request certain personal details to validate and process your tour, including:

• Contact details such as your Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
• Operational details such as Destination (Madeira vs. Lisbon), number of travelers in your party, preferred date/time, and custom accommodation or cruise liner pick-up locations.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your details purely to facilitate the scheduling, billing, and operational coordination of your private tour. Specifically, we utilize your information to:

• Validate reservation dates and matching guide availability.
• Provide instant coordination notifications via WhatsApp or Email.
• Satisfy local Portuguese licensing guidelines (Turismo de Portugal) for licensed passenger transport operations.

3. Data Sharing & Processing

Tukxi maintains a strict zero-sharing policy. We never sell, lease, or trade your email address or contact details to third-party marketing brokers. Your data is handled by our internal coordination team across Tukxi Madeira and Tukxi Lisbon operations, and processed only by the service providers we need to run the website and your booking:

• Netlify — website hosting and delivery of contact-form messages.
• Bókun — online booking and payment for our tours.
• Google — website analytics and advertising measurement (see Cookie Policy below).

4. Cookie Policy

Our website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, which measures how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed), and Google Ads conversion tracking, which tells us when a visit that started from one of our ads leads to an enquiry or booking. These Google services may set cookies and collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type. The booking widget (Bókun) and embedded Google Maps may also set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

5. GDPR Rights

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you hold the right to request a complete copy of any personal details we store for you, as well as request its immediate and absolute deletion from our active booking registers.
